Sanskrit is the oldest and the classical language of India, in which Vedas, Upanishads and other Hindu scriptures are written. To acquire the ancient Indian knowledge of Veda, Agama, and Astrology, one needs to know the Sanskrit language. Srimath had always propagated the Sanskrit language in the best possible way by establishing Sanskrit Patashala across Karnataka. Srimath started the first Sanskrit School at Mysuru about 6o years ago in the building donated by Kyathanahalli Sahukar Siddalingaiah.
Currently, Math runs 10 Sanskrit schools in different places and a Sanskrit College at Suttur. Of these, five schools are established in rural areas to spread the knowledge of Sanskrit to rural students.
