Knowledge Resource Centre for Science and Technology (KRCST)
The goal of this centre is to develop knowledge society based on scientific and technological advancements to address complex challenges and social transformation as well as to promote curiosity, inspire interest, lead to learning and creativity in science and technology through an informal learning process.
This centre is proposed to be established at Suttur by creating top science experiences, exciting exhibits/exhibitions, both indoor and outdoor. These will be interactive and engaging programs with a participatory learning experience and breathtaking audio-video films, besides manufacturing of new and innovative exhibits and contents. This unique centre will provide an opportunity for the visitors to understand scientific concepts in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The centre is proposed to be implemented and developed as a joint collaborative effort between JSSMVP and the Govt. of India along with Govt. of Karnataka at an estimated cost of Rs. 175 Crores.
