Farewell to the Suttur Jatra Publicity Chariot from Kollegal

Kollegal, January 16, 2020: Sri Narendra, MLA, Hanur Assembly Constituency, bid farewell to the Suttur jatra publicity chariot, in the presence of Pujya Sri Srikantaswamiji of the Virakta Math, Mudigunda and leaders of the taluk.

In his blessings Sri Srikantaswamy expressed his view that the Paramapujya Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreehswara Shivayogi Mahaswamiji’s Jatra Mahotsav that is being held from January 21 to 26 will create awareness among the people about various aspects including spitirual, culture, education, agriculture and religion. “There is a lot to see and learn from the jatra mahotsav. It reflects the history of arts, literature, culture of our State and also provides a platform for educational seminars, agriculture based expos and other pro-people programmes,” he added.

“Mass marriage, anna dasoha, exhibition, wrestling competition, and other programmes are part of the jatra mahotsav. All of us should take part in it,” he said.
