Suttur, April 23, 2024: Dr. C.G. Betsurmath, Executive Secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, underscored the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving success during his participation in a personality development camp. Organized by Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Math, the camp aimed to empower students from Ayurveda, Speech and Hearing, and Nursing Colleges. Held on April 17, 2024, at Suttur, the event provided invaluable insights into personal and professional growth.

In his enlightening session themed ‘Secret of Success,’ Dr. Betsurmath elucidated, “Success lies within our grasp. By setting clear goals, maintaining positive thinking, and embracing hard work, anyone can pave their path to success. It’s a journey guided by the wisdom of teachers, elders, and conscientious practices. In this modern era, akin to the ages of Tretayuga and Dwaparayuga, we can perceive this era as ‘Aykeyuga’ (the era of choice). Wise choices propel us towards success.”

Further enriching the discourse, Dr. N. Ambika, an Education Expert and Psychologist from Mysuru, emphasized the essence of self-capability in leading a fulfilling life. “True happiness stems from self-acceptance and liberation from comparisons. Living independently, free from the shadows of parental influence, defines a life of true autonomy. Self-love and minimal expectations pave the way for genuine accomplishments. Happiness resides within us, waiting to be discovered,” she articulated.

The personality development camp, conducted under the auspices of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji, culminated in a valedictory program where students from various colleges expressed their gratitude for the enriching experience.

Dr. Rajendra Prasad M.L., Assistant Professor at JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru, presented a comprehensive report on the camp’s proceedings. The event featured an invocation by student Kum. Deepthi, a warm welcome by Sri C.N. Sunilkumar, and a vote of thanks by Dr. H.S. Harshan Kumar.

A total of 233 students from Ayurveda, Speech and Hearing, and Nursing Colleges actively participated in the camp, demonstrating their commitment to personal and professional growth.
