A mass marriage ceremony was held as a part of Suttur Jathra Mahotsava at Sri Kshetra Suttur on 19.01.2023 in the divine presence of HH Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji. In the ceremony around 114 couples tied the knot. Couples from different castes, religions and physically challenged also took part in the ceremony. Sri Sacchidananda Saraswathi Swamiji of Sri Vasavi Mutt, Sri Chandrashekhara Shivacharya Swami of Sri Gurushantheshwara Samsthana Hiremath, Sri ST Somashekar, Minister for Cooperation, Govt. of Karnataka were present during the ceremony.
