Suttur, May 13, 2019: “When we develop good habits in our lives we can avoid mental stress,” opined Sri C.P.Ramasheshu
He participated in the ‘Chintana-Manthana’ program organized for spiritual seekers, by the Jagadguru Sri Veerasimhasana Mahasamsthana Math, in association with the JSS Mahavidyapeetha and Sri Shivarathreeshwara Dharmika Datti, held at the Suttur Srikshetra.
In his address to the participants, he said, “Habits can be classified as collection, preparation, participation, performing arts and sports. We can come to know what our habits are when we look at our daily routine. Good habits are always healthy. The habits of spiritual practitioners are usually involving in Satsang, self-study, giving discourses, listening to discourses, practices like yoga, meditation, writing articles and publishing the same, traveling, going on pilgrimages, participating in positive discussions, etc.
Quoting noted philosopher Bertrand Russel he said, “if we have good habits we can be happy in life and there will be opportunities to celebrate life.” He also gave several examples of this.
