Sportspersons of Suttur JSS Higher Primary School excelled at the Taluk-level sports meet organized by the School Education and Literacy Department at the Nanjangud Taluk Stadium, winning the overall championship. Suttur,September 11, 2025: Thestudnets of the JSS Higher Primary School, Suttur took part in various sportsevents organised by the Department of School Education and Literay, at theTaluk stadium in Nanjangud and secured overall prize with 97 points.

Boys: Kabaddi (1st place), Kho Kho, Ball Badminton, Throwball (2nd place). In Kho Kho girls team secured 1st place and 2nd place in Kabaddi.

Athletics: Mahantesh Naik – 400 mts, Long Jump (1st place). He emerged as individual champion

In Boys category: Beetaraj – 100 mts (1st palce), Shotput, 400 m. running (3rd place). Long Jump – Dhananjit (3rd place), Guruprasad – 600 m. running (1st place); Mohith Kumar Mehato – Discuss throw (1st place); Harhith – High Jump (3rd place); Beetaraj and team – 4×100 m. relay (1st place). With this they have been selected to take part in the district-level sports meet.

Girls: Ningsetwai – 100 m. running (2nd place), Amrutha – 600 m. running (2nd place); Abana Lingdoh – Discuss throw (1st place), disc throw (2nd place); Lysaram Jeenalakshmidevi – High jump (1st place), she has been selected for district-level sports tournament.

The administrative officer, coordinating officer, headmaster and teaching staff have congratulaed all the winners.
